PHARMACEUTICAL SYRUPS

Promethazine is used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting related to certain conditions (such as before/after surgery, motion sickness). It is also used to treat allergy symptoms such as rash, itching, and runny nose.

Benadryl Syrup is used in the treatment of cough. It relieves allergy symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, watery eyes and congestion or stuffiness. It also thins mucus in the nose, windpipe and lungs, making it easier to cough out.

Hydroxyzine is used to treat itching caused by allergies. It is an antihistamine and works by blocking a certain natural substance (histamine) that your body makes during an allergic reaction. Hydroxyzine may also be used short-term to treat anxiety or to help you feel sleepy/relaxed before and after surgery.

It relieves allergy symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, watery eyes and congestion or stuffiness.

Chlorphenamine injection is indicated for acute urticaria, control of allergic reactions to insect bites and stings, angioneurotic oedema, drug and serum reactions, desensitisation reactions, hayfever, vasomotor rhinitis, severe pruritus of non-specific origin

Syrup is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of dry cough. It can provide temporary relief of cough due to throat irritation, sneezing, and running nose. It works by reducing the activity of the brain's cough center and blocking the effects of histamine.

Benadryl DR Syrup suppresses dry, hacking coughs. It will help you carry out your daily activities more easily. This medicine is safe and effective. Benadryl DR Syrup usually starts to work within a few minutes and the effects can last up to several hours.

Magnesium Citrate + Potassium Citrate is a combination of two medicines: Magnesium Citrate and Potassium Citrate which prevent kidney stones. It raises urine pH and prevents the formation, growth and aggregation of crystals in the kidneys, thereby preventing stones.

 It is commonly used for the diagnosis or treatment of jaundice, improves appetite, digestion, liver damage, viral hepatitis. It has some side effects such as Dizziness, allergic reaction, rectal bleeding, weight gain.

Sodium picosulfate/magnesium oxide/citric acid solution is used to clean out the intestines before surgery or certain procedures (such as colonoscopy, X-rays). It is a laxative that works by drawing large amounts of water into your intestines and stimulating the colon. This causes watery bowel movements (diarrhea).

Cyproheptadine (Periactin) is used to relieve allergic symptoms. It is also used to relieve headaches, and motion sickness. It may also be prescribed to your child to increase his or her appetite to help with emptying of the stomach and improve symptoms of nausea and vomiting.
